The space
For one price you get two private suites with a common TV room that separates the rooms, which provides privacy and is perfect for couples traveling together. Both rooms have outside entrances and are locked off from the main house. This provides guests lots of privacy.
For 16 years we've been hosting happy guests in this home. River House Rentals in Wimberley TX offer a relaxing, beautiful atmosphere for a fun Wimberley getaway. When you book here, you are booking both suites. We do not rent one suite only.
We're located 3.5 miles from downtown Wimberley and a quarter of a mile from Old Glory Ranch.
A TV/breakfast room separates the suites providing privacy for everyone. Each suite has an outside entrance. The living room has a microwave, small fridge, toaster. Free movies on Netflix and Amazon Prime, cable TV. Outdoor grill, chimenea, microwave and toaster. We have a drip coffeemaker, and we provide you with coffee. Don't plan on cooking here, though, because your quarters aren't equipped for that. You can, however, grill your meals outside on our propane barbeque grill.
If you need help during your stay, we're happy to help you. Mostly, though, you're on your own!

Deep river, kayaks, fishing, powerful hot tub, wifi, cable TV, free movies on Netflix. We provide big river toys (kayaks and tubes) to be enjoyed on our river lots as well as two coveted private river parks. One river park is next to our 300' of river frontage on our lots across the street - which are for your use - and the other park is a five-minute walk.

Interaction with guests
We enjoy greeting and meeting our guests if we're home and don't happen to be traveling ourselves. We like to orient guests as to what parts of the river are available to them, show them how to open the hot tub cover so it hangs off the back of the tub on the metal rod, and answer any questions about our area. Then you're on your own, with lots of privacy, because that's what we like when we travel. :) You may see us coming and going, and feel free to ask us anything. We like happy, relaxed guests and enjoy visiting when our guests want to. Once you're here, the best way to contact us, even though we may be somewhere in the house, is by texting us. That number will be available to you when you check in.

Other things to note
Once you locate the house, you can pull in your parking space off of River Road. Super easy to get to. We're three and a half miles to the square.
